Hey this is J.D. from Carter Road. I started teaching myself to play the guitar when I
was about 10 and started taking lessons when I was 11. I have been playing every
since. A couple of years after I started playing I became enlightened by my first Jimi
Hendrix CD. Like many young guitarists I was influenced greatly by his electric guitar
styling. Later, as I matured as a musician I found other influences such as Miles
Davis, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Beck, John Mayer and many others.
